Q: How much air should I put in my tyres?
A: Don’t look at the sidewall of your tyre. The proper pressure is located on a decal on the driver’s doorjamb or under the fuel door. If you still aren’t sure, give your local Midas a call.
Q: Why is just one edge of my tyre smooth?
A: Too much or too little air pressure can cause uneven wearing of your tyre. Alignment, balancing and steering problems can cause uneven wear. If you still have questions, give your local Midas a call.
Q: My tyre has a leak. Can it be repaired?
A: Give your local Midas a call for a puncture repair. It must be less than 5mm, located on the tread (not the sidewall) and not overlapping a previous repair.
Q: How often should my tyres be rotated?
A: Most manufacturers recommend rotating tyres with every service. If you still aren’t sure, give Midas a call.
Q: What makes the tyre warning light turn on?
A: If the light is steady, you should have your tyre pressure checked. They may be over or under-inflated. If the light is flashing, you should have your TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) checked for faults. If you still aren’t sure, give your local Midas a call.
Q: How do I know when I need new tyres?
